Did Oden have the KoH ability, or was this instantly manifested by Zoro on the spot in the heat of battle?

Is it more of a feat to accomplish something ONLY 1 other god-tier character has done, or to invent an entirely new power in a single moment.

We know that during the flashback, Oda drew haki leakage for Roger and WB but nothing for Oden.
So since Oden did not have the haki leakage, it means he did not have KOH mode

Both achieved a scar.
The difference is that Oden did it at his peak, with aCoC.
Meanwhile, Zoro did it far from his peak, without aCoC.
Whenever you compare someone to Zoro, they simply look bad.

Yes. Would you say Oden had KOH when he was a child?
Well Oden's scar feat can't be compared to Zoro's because;
- Zoro had several dozen broken bones
- Zoro only released a miniscule amount of COC
- no KOH

Zoro went on to get ACoC too, an even made up KoH. Only it’s him mimicking someone that could do exactly the same thing. But without nearly dying in 5 mins

No KoH is a Zoro only technic like Asura.

The misconception about KoH is that some people think that it is a AdvCoC mode when it is more than that. In KoH mode Zoro exude a lot of CoC but also a lot CoA, far more than what any character ever done on screen yet.

Zoro is the only character who produce a green smoke while using a lot of CoA which is proof of the other uniqueness of the mode.

In short, KoH = A lot of CoA (enough to create a green smoke) coated with a lot of CoC (enough to create gigantic trails of lightning).
