Character Discussion Does Zoro have a stronger arm?

#4
I always assumed Zoro was a lefty because his swords rest on his right hip. When he draws his swords, he is using his left hand.

Furthermore, I have a head canon that Zoro started his two sword style because he is left handed. He needed a sword in his left hand in order to understand the movements needed to transfer to his right hand.
Yeah he should be left handed. He also use his left hand when he uses one sword style

I think that means that Zoro is ready to fight
"traditional Japanese etiquette says that katanas displayed with the tsuka on the left signals peace, whereas displaying the katana with the tsuka on the right signals combat readiness and ability to fight."
I've watched a couple of Zoro's one sword style videos and he uses both hands. :quest:

Which arm he used to test his luck when he buy a sword in Logue town? I think that's his preferred arm.

However I don't think he has a dominant arm, because he can use/dual wield his swords to a Two Sword Style perfectly.

Besides, Oda respects Zoro a lot, and his image is about perfection, so ambidextrous is the way to go.

That’s really cool and I learned something new today. Of course Zoro would always be ready to fight!

You're talking about this photo right?

OT: He's ambidextrous but he prefers his left hand
Yes! That’s the exact same picture I was thinking of. Thank you for posting!
