Forget Lucci, if anything Kaku is more prodigy than Luffy, the so called prodigy in the series.
Luffy ate Gomu Gomu since he was 7. He spent 10 years and at beginning of the series he barely could do shit. Beginning of series Luffy couldn't even do gear 2.
