I think it's lame they went with a romantic subplot instead of a purely platonic one, I think it'd have an equal amount of impact imho
It's kind of cheap when they use romance as a plot device
"dying girl falling in love" is so cliche
"dying best friend that showed theres more to life than being afraid to live" is GOATed

I had a love/hate with Fairy Tail. Came around to accepting it wouldn't be what I hoped it could be and that it peaked very early, overall fun manga.

I don't mind this opinion. I haven't rewatched Eva in about 8 years, and I strongly suspect I will like it less, now. The Rebuilds were meh, haven't seen 4 yet.
