I realize “the first part isn’t as good” is never a good sell. But JoJo’s part 1 isn’t anything super special (but it is super unique) but it lays a great foundation, and the writer has constantly gotten better and upped his game. Part 2’s MC is one of my all time favorite MCs and from 3 onward JoJo’s has some of the best fights in the game for battle manga/anime imo.
