On the other hand there's no logic in Oda's writing
Lucci would be fast enough to avoid that and shouldn't be easily tag by Stussy especially like that approach
In Oda's writing same characters are made strong and weak.....fast and slow....retard and smart ...... temporarily as and when required for the plot
Oda's cares more about the plot and story and would do anything for the plot irrespective of whether it denies power lvl logic. The sad thing is that ironically 90% of op fans are power scaler and 10% theorists

If luffy fights either luffy vs akainu automatically loses some hype. Then their the possibilty of sabo or someone else fighting him. On top of that luffy beating kaido's magma dragon and oda would have to give him an even hyper attack
If luffy really does fight akainu i can't help but think he might be the blueno to imu's lucci tbh
It's sad Oda doesn't work like that with longer arcs.
See here, everything and everyone move fast. The situations are quickly solved (Vegapunk secret ally, hawk vs zoro, lucci and kaku removed in one panel). The story and screenplay are also good with no boring moment really. SHP interactions, that's OP.
Instead of useless characters, their fbs, fake death, illogical plot, PIS, flaws, dumb fights, 100 chapters of hype for nothing, etc.
