Could see Oda do a reverse of that scene. Saturn gets punched but unlike trash charlos he shows he can actually take a punch and proceeds to reveal his possible power whether through Imu or whatever.

Would be kinda neat if that weapon Imu has empowers the Gorosei, so that way it explains how they would be able to fight an Awakened Luffy despite their age, and at the same time we get a peak of what that thing is.

I’m telling y’all, Luffy vs Saturn and Zoro + Sanji vs Kizaru seem like some of the most obvious matchups in the entire story.

Especially since Oda said not that long ago One Piece still has few years left. And that he also said in a interview he doesn't like stories where the protagonist is too powerful. (the one where he used akainu as example)

One piece will be left unfinished because Oda dies during the final arc

Instead of having them beat Luffy's ass ( which is inconsistent as the Gorosei admitted they can't stop Shanks if he went on a rampage so how would they clap a different Yonko ) just have them push him to mid or high diff or something.
