Indeed, those are fun movies (I love Ace ventura for exemple) but this can permit us not to repeat the negative tropes.

Negative tropes is what makes movies.
Not saying it's necessarily good but it's just how it's functioned. Movies just like to reflect the common perceived stereotypes in movies so it's hard to move away from that paradigm
