1. Sex =/= gender.
2. The gender of a trans person is the gender they are identifying to. So it's completely logical for a transgender men to be "gay" if they love men and to be "straight" if they love women.

Really there is nothing complicated in that..

First point is clear.

Second point is contradicting your first point.
Unless you mean "gay according to gender". Which is a totally different thing than "gay according to sex" which is what people usually go with. But whatever, this isn't gonna get us anywhere. This is just a linguistic question at this point. Let's just stop it here.
