it is in fact rude. I am aware.
this is why I usually do not talk to religious people about religion. feelings will inevitable get hurt. but this thread is a politics thread and in my opinion religion has held humanity back long enough.

- something we rely on

- is bigger than us

- is replicable

As far as I'm concerned, our god

- is One and nothing is like him (there are gazillions of stars in the galaxies alone)

- is someone universe relies on for its existence but he doesn't rely on anything else ( the sun relies on burning a limited amount of fuel to survive)

- is unlimited in capacity (the sun isn't)

- has agency (the sun doesn't)




Your definition of God is reduced to anything you can depend upon and is bigger than you or higher in you hierarchy .. And alot of things come under that including your parents.

So its no comparison and it just seems like you're trolling

- we derive a way to lives as humans from our god and every religion even those who make Sun a god and personify it.. Have had experinces with something to have concluded that whether wrongfully or not

And as humans to us its an innate disposition to believe in god

Country should be lead by best possible advisors and rulers. In democracy rulers are elected by people and people are fucking stupid.

Not sure if I understood this one right.
There are higher powers than humans in this universe. It is not necessary some mythical or inexplainable power. Like a god.
The sun is already a higher power than us. Which is why it war worshipped in the past. It is what ultimately gives life to us.
A higher power can also be (an imo it is) a physical concept that we can not comprehend due to a limitation of our own minds.

worshipping a personification of a concept or a person itself = idiocy

because the people that build structures that the romans or the greeks could not replicate were too stoopid to realize this.

that is not what happens in religion. its a cult about people who lived long ago. none of them have any power right now. nor did they have any special sort of power back then. all the influence was very limited in scale.
