The only thing I'm going to bother to say about skin color since you seem to want to trap me. Is that if Oda didn't care about it, the anime wouldn't have had to change the entire main cast to the colors on the covers (that are all near identical) and Robin would still be the same as pre- TS and Luffy darker. But they did, because the author obviously had his reasons.

You literally just misread what I said. He DOES CARE, to the point he had the anime change it to the cover tones for the whole crew. Robin, Luffy, and co used to vary in tones. They don't anymore.
