Okay? It's usually an art form to be as accurate as you can be. Do you go to cons and see all the people that don't even try?
Also how about the ones that do cosplay and put their heart and soul into trying to be accurate? Like that one Twitch streamer who wanted to cosplay some dark elf character she loved. She put on the makeup and got banned for 'blackface' when her literal intent was just to be as accurate to the character as she could get to portray the character.
It's not about races. It's about trying vs putting no effort in it.
You arent making any sense. Art within of itself is subjectively so to state "someone didn't even try" is your forced interpretation of what you want a character to look like. It's dumb at best since no living human can even remotely exhibit actual features of an animation..
So basically what you are saying is: since a person does not have orange hair they should NOT cosplay to portray any character with orange hair since the have to use a chemical or a device or am item outside of themselves to replicate what they are trying to cosplay.
Since a guy is fit he should cosplay as a fat overweight manga/anime character since he body type does not fit the adequate description.
Since a guy is white he should portray the cosplay or an Asian series of characters in a show since his ethnicity is different.
So I will ask again which one is it?
