Controversial Artificial Intelligence: Where are we going?

I'm not an expert or anything, i graduated from Computer Science and i haven't been really working in the industry, but i'm still interested in new tech.

I'm just looking at all the new AI tech being dropped on us this past year and all the headlines that go with it, and it's starting to feel really scary lmao.

We have ChatGPT making programs for us in natural language and aswering whatever you want.

We have AI art taking over the internet and creating a massive debate over them.

We have female content creators faces being put into porn thanks to Deepfake.

We have people generating texts and then audio + video based on the text of what a Content Creator could say. Making perfect replicas of what those creators would do.

This stuff is crazy son, and when you combine all of them, holy shit...

How long until an AI can perfectly predict the stock market or use the public to manipulate it? like rich people already do

I feel like the Tech is coming super fast and the general audiences are not waking up to it, companies will 100% start using them for cheaper labor and then we're gonna have to rethink a lot of stuff about how society works

this is kinda wrong lmao

ChatGPT can already make insanely complex code that works

and this is just the first version

we will still need programmers to be able ask and specify what we want from the AI, but that's it

AI might be new for common people due to chatgp..but many high class traders using AI for years..stock market is unpredictable..but can make bucks using AI for chart reading

we made the trend of social media usage for the past 10 years

now anybody will be able to go on a social media page of a person, get a bunch of photos and videos of a person, then feed an AI with that content and generate videos by putting that person's face on anything

in a few years from now, not that long, you will be able to make yourself the main character of whatever movie you want

just by giving enough of your photos to it

To be fair, if the governement starts regulating it now it might slow down the advancement of the technology. Best thing to do is use 3 letter agencies to track down crimes related to AI and give out harsh punishment.

Not that I want to get into conspiracy theory territory, but I am mostly sure whatever tech we(the public) are getting at the moment, has already been discovered and developed beforehand by militaries/intelligence agencies.
