Yeah, all this blank backgrounds Kubo draw.Great Artstyle
He wants to focus on the characters rather than the background. Bleach's minimalist style works really well. Infact I prefer to read Bleach in black white rather than the color.

That's a great page which sums up Ulquiorra's arc perfectly imo.

"Personality" = good, when the character itself is assassinated. Ichigo has always been consistent. Can't say the same for the other two.
Consistent is not a good thing if the character doesn't change whatsoever during the span of the story :milaugh:

It's like a color palette, Ichigo is limited to a few colors. Although I do like him, Naruto has a million colors and finesse in comparison.

I mean he does change. You see his growth throughout the story. He might be a semon demon with all 3 races (that itself is fairly well explained ), but he wasn't some child of prophecy which is worse imo

Consistent as he stays true to himself. He of course faces hardships and changes when he overcomes these challenges. Naruto ain't consistent because he went form "I'm going to be hokage despite all my setbacks" to I'm the second coming of Jueus and everything was according to prophecy. Same with luffy. You are introduced to an adventure loving free kid, but in the end he's a slave to the Nika df. Only Ichigoat is Consistent, it is what it is. 🤷

You're mixing up apples and oranges there. Naruto has always been consistent with what he wants and how he wants to get it - those are the traits of his character.

Reincarnation stuff got introduced later with the Kaguya plot, and although idiotic, has nothing to do with Naruto's character traits and hasn't changed his behavior whatsoever.

Essentially you're saying Naruto looks bad because of bad plot. If plot and character were relatable, then Ichigo would be the worst cause Bleach "plot" is basically nonexistent for most of the manga.

In behavior? Naruto has been consistent, but also evolving after every arc and time period. The best I can say about Ichigo is that he had to realise he has to rely on himself and that he wasn't to blame for his mom.

Not mixing anything up. How can you merely call it "plot". It's the whole premise of Naruto. You root for the untalented kid to make it to the top through sheer will and hard effort, only for Kishi to slap you in the face 600 chapters later. Suddenly you can't relate to the mc anymore, he's a god.

Who not only had the most talented bloodline mix in the whole show bit also is a straight up reincarnation of the strongest son of the So6p.

In terms of character traits and behavior, nothing changed. So saying he wasn't consistent is not true. It doesn't undo the hard work he did, in fact if we erase the Asura stuff, nothing changes.

Is Ichigo not basically a god himself, is there anything he is not good at. Among the mcs, he's the only one who can do it all, be a shinigami, visored, hollow, Quincy, you name it and he's it. :saden:
