If we are talking about one piece , when we enter arc , arc potential and expectations are huge. Like wano, so many thing could have handled better in many ways . Higher expectations produces more complaints.

I’m willing to be more generous with WCI, especially in hindsight, even though it doesn’t feature any of my favorites. But when it comes to Wano I’m totally merciless. It deserves all the criticism it gets and more. A dragged out, torturous mess with no strong core.

It depends on what the complaints are. If it's about death and tension then it is.
Anything about the pacing, Oden and panel time for the scrubbards and Oroshit is justified imo.

Partially yes, the arcs pretty cool. I'd say majority of the trashing is due to expectations regarding certain things. However, for Wano the writing objectively does fall once the Raid starts. Prior to that is great storytelling and build up for the climax (which was the bad raid).

Considering there are only a handful of us that complains, while 95% of the other fandom eat whatever Oda draws for them, then the answer is an unequivocal hell no.

Agree that it depends on the actual complaints, but in general, I'd say that those arcs indeed didn't live up to their hype, and the complaints, even if exaggerated, still have a solid ground.
I dislike Wano more than WCI, I did re-read WCI some time after it ended in a chunk to compare it to the arcs I'd previously read not on a weekly basis, and it felt better. With Wano I simply don't want to re-read it, I'm just happy it's over, Oden's wank is over, and I really enjoy Egghead so far.

I think people exaggerate, deep down they liked it , there's no way people don't like Wano kaidou it's very cool, he's on the same level as Aizen and Madara as villains.

I'd say Wano had some cool moments, but overall it didn't live up to its hype.
Kaido had less of a backstory compared to Big Mom I wish we'd get more Kaido story and less Oden's story, although I'm always happy to see Roger in character flashbacks.
In the end, Kaido was just a really durable punching bag for Luffy. He deserved more.
