I have said it multiples times already admirals and BB just don't fit the criteria of conquerors.
And neither does law.
Luffy/Zoro/Kidd makes the most sense that they have it.
Zoro is never scared to give fight if they are in front of them. But if not in front of them Zoro keeps a cool mind.
Whitebeard was a conqueror too yet decided not to take oden revenge and other stuffs. WB knew about the unnecessary bloodshed if there's a war.
But if somehow WB cross his path with kaido he might actually take action.
And neither does law.

This is why your threads are dumb and you can't read just like ZKKboys and Ladmiral fans.
Even Prime WB retreated vs. Random Marines, and WB also refuse to fight Kaido on Wano despite Kaido killing his crewmate Oden.
Shanks is the same guy who told WB to not send Ace to fight BB and didn't want to fight BB later, just wanted to stop the war, didn't chase him or didn't look for an opportunity to fight BB in the New World.
So keeping a cool head away from the enemy is good but not when in the middle of a confrontation or battle?
-Explain Doffy bullying smoker and retreated when Aokiji came to the rescue. Why didn't Doffy fought to death?
-Explain Kaido not forcing his way to Marineford when met with Shanks and the RHP. Why Kaido did not fight the RHP to death?
-Explain Sengoku, a confirmed conqueror, stopping the war instead of fighting all the remaining pirates at their own turf to death.

More than being a headstrong...what makes conqeror being conqeror is about how much ambitious the conqerors are of their dreams....more than head strong....it is about being so strong willed about their ambition....process doesn't matter...no matter what, reaching their goal is the only thing general CoC users have there in their mind...

CoC user Chinjao picks BB amongst the Worst Generation to become the PK after talking about the levels of CoC Haki in the new world. Kid having CoC but not BB would be lame for the story. Plus BB's attacks already have the CoC sound effects during his battle with Law. And CoC user Hancock's Haki was completely useless vs. BB, even after Ray arrived he admitted they couldn't win vs. Bb in 2 v1 with Hancock.
If Red Dog has CoC then Aokiji probably has as well, and Aokiji become an underling to BB not even partners.

WB and Zoro weren't running because they were afraid, they were running because they weren't interesting in fighting fodder.
As for Doffy, he's one of the weakest conquerors we have seen.
Standing your ground is literally one of the hallmarks of being a conqueror. Oda has emphasized this over and over and over.

He stood nothing to gain by fighting the Red Haired Pirates during Marineford.
Why fight Akainu over a Ship?
Why risk fighting Rayleigh, the Marines + Seraphims, and the entirety of Amazon Lily for Boa's Devil Fruit, when it would have cost him two crew members right off the bat?
If it is something detrimental to his overall goal, he will lay it all on the line like he did for the Gura.
