I'm usually one of the guys that always points out weak writing and tries to be objective.

In the case of the second half of WCI (back on Orojackson) and the raid portion of Wano I've been very critical.

However, I don't know how you can claim that Egghead is a bad arc or even worse than the raid.

Is the writing perfect? No, but this is a shonen manga and Oda's target demographic are still teenagers (although we know that in fact most readers are adults these days). Of course the writing isn't some kind of Shakespearian masterpiece on Egghead either. However, it doesn't have those kind of fundamental (!) flaws that the chase in WCI or the raid on Onigashima had.

Sure, it has some questionable/not really logical moments, but those don't hurt the flow of the story like it did in those other instances.
I will elaborate why when I am not too lazy lol. But I will say this, yall were saying the same thing about Wano in the beginning half when I was making threads on how bad Wano was at the time. Yall didn't believe me then either. Egghead reeks of the worst aspects of Oda's writing. He is confused right now and doesn't know what he is writing, he has completely lost the plot.

People ignore how much had to go right for Luffy to beat Kaido.

Luffy is not Yonkou level yet, he's able to fight at Yonkou level for small periods of time. It took him until after the second time he got knocked out in Onigashima for Luffy to do serious damage to Kaido with CoC, and if Kaido had ever just cut his head off, he would have died.

Kaido himself is why Luffy won that fight, and virtually no one will admit that. KAIDO WANTED LUFFY TO BEAT HIM. Kaido wanted to lose to Luffy soooooooooooooooooooooooo much more than Katakuri ever did.

I have no reason to believe Saturn or Kizaru would fight like that.

Onigashima was everything going right for Luffy so he could defeat a Yonkou.

Egghead will be Luffy realizing it's not always that easy against top tiers.
Luffy is a solid Yonko level, him low diffed Lucci,A awakening Zoan.

Wano was good and ppl are mostly full of shit. Wci was one of the best arcs in the entire series

Agreed. Egghead has great pacing compared to the previous arcs albeit the storyline is somewhat bland and Vegapunks design is horrendous
