Maybe she is just a gossip spread well enough for centuries and people believe in it?

Or since you said Mashima wants it to be dark, maybe the wishes work as life offering for a wish.

Maybe that's why we saw Four Shining Stars and Four Dark Stars as humans in those flashbacks. Maybe they were all human companions at some point or they visited Granbell and the theme park itself is constructed to lure people in so Ziggy could later offer them to mother for a wish.

I think it's the opposite, because of that jump in another universe they can get more development, because Hiro can now use elements in that manga without using Rebeccas power to change the events, example: if Witch dies again, this time she will stay dead. And this time we can see the true power of the OSG members and the true power of Shiki and his friends and what they learnt during the time skip. Then so far they don't have the same strength of U3 but if they somehow get this strength back during this arc, then we as readers can better see how much they got stronger, something Hiro should have made during the Lendard arc. So I think U0 will have better developments than the time skip and U3.



That is something I don't like too. It's too easy.


But thats the interesting point in time travel stories. Everything can be changed and in U0 Rebecca lost her power to travel through time, so this universe is more interesting to watch, because if someone dies during the battles, that character will stay dead.
And not only that, the whole change what happens because of the time travel will also be interesting to see. Why is Nero with Drakken? Why is Laguna the leader of Oasis, what happened with that big cat? Why is Shura the emperor and is he the same asshole like he was in U2? What happened with Elsie, Justice, Cure, Crow and the others?

Are Rachel and her church cult the true enemies? Will Rachel be the only one who will know everything? Is that part of her plan? etc.

I think U0 will be better in everything forms, developments, battles, emotional moments, story and dark moments.

The only thing what sucks is that Witch is back. All other things are good, because it's a complete different world.

I never said that they doesn't got stronger, I said that Hiro never showed the real difference, therefore the ts was meaningsless for me.
They had struggle with the OSG members and with the servants of them in U3 and they would also have struggles with them in U2 before the time skip. I think the missing point was something that makes you feel "ok, wow they really get stronger".

For me they also could fighting against the OSG without the time skip, the outcome would be the same. In the battle against Crow they only won because Holy and Eraser helped them plus they had the weapons of the Edens Zero. With that, they would also win against Crow without the ts.

God Acnoella was fighting against Justice and Elsie, two members of the OSG/OSI so here again, here downfall would also happens in U2 without the ts.

The same thing with Ziggy. Ziggy never fought with his true power and he wouldn't do it in U2 too, if they had fighting him there.

Hiro could also let them train again for few chapters with one of the OSI members or with Elsie or with Xeny again and after that the Lendard arc would have the same outcome. The ts wasn't necessary.

And I don't hope that we will get the 3 years timeskip again, it wouldn't make sense. We are in the last saga, we are in a battle against two members of the OSG and maybe Cure is also there. And with Pinos statement I believe Hiro will use another way to make them able to use their power of U3, without to make another ts.


In other shounens the ts was portrayed better look at Naruto, Black Clover or Fairy Tail, thats the thing I missed in Edens Zero

My only hope is, that this time Hiro will show the real difference between the 3 years.....if not....my point about that will not be changed.

Yeah I understand both sides because I’m not entirely sold on this arc, it’s a 50/50 for me

I also thought today that I’ll need some patience until the real shit starts but I’m still trying to enjoy it
I really liked EZ up until this point and my opinion hasn’t changed
I hope this is just a slow built up for something good

Yeah for sure. I'm not dropping this or anything but I'm completely uninterested in this atm.

Like we spend 200+ chapters on developing the characters for nothing + sacrifices made are basically irrelevant since they will get everyone together in this one.

This is really bad and that's why I hate time travelling/time related powers.

I would never write a story about time travelling etc.
It’s my least favourite story element and always risky
