“Color of Observation” killer. WiFi Haki. On the PK’s ship. Legendary battles with WSS. Alliance with strongest nation. Daughter is biggest idol in the world. Royal family lineage potential. Goody two-shoes, magnamious, edgy “everybody loves him” archetype of a Mary Sue. Even the loss of limb is “I’m betting it on future generation” emotional reaction.

You are crazy. Those can be considered Zenkai boosts. Luffy never failed once.

Zoro constantly loses to everything and everyone until Oda decides that he will stop bullying his character.

Luffy is the biggest mary sue in one piece, never loses and is always right.

And bro lost to buggy,arlong,enel,lucci,kaido big mom,yeti cool brothers,double ko with killer
Zoro needed a drug to fight that gonna give him x2 damage but goofy eats food and he s back at 100%
Goofy can return 100000 times from defeat
Other char cant .even luffy saying "i have infinite chances"

and the characters we actually aren't supposed to root for - the GOROSEI (=the most powerful celestial dragons) - like him just fine

He failed twice against Croc
One time against Lucci in W7
One time against Moria
The whole crew got stomped by Pacifistas,Sentomaru and Kizaru
Failed against Magellan
Failed to save Ace
Failed twice against Katakuri
Failed 3 times against Kaido and got killed once by Kaido

Yeah,Luffy is a big Gary Sue,maybe even the biggest one but point is,he also lost a lot of times.Same counts for Zorro and Sanji

Zoro was given a moment against the attack from two Yonkou's that makes no sense and is completely inconsistent and made no impact just because he wanted to wank Zoro for the fangrils. how is this even a question. Shanks doesn't even have a righthand other than beckman.
