Appo had been under the umbrella of Kaido before Kidd, Hawkins and Apoo confronted Kaido. (Raw spoiler summary is ambiguous.) Hawkins had no choice but to become a subordinate under Kaido for survival.

Numbers attend the party that Kaido and Big Mom hold.

Kaido and Big Mom decide to make a pirate alliance. Their subordinates are surprised to hear that.
Kaido and Big Mom say it would not be too late to kill each other after conquring the world.

It was obvious they will stop fight because Kaido despite being hostile in the beginning asked guards to unchain BM. Oda did drop the hint about this.

But someone is playing here. Most likely BM who will backstab Kaido resulting into nerfing him

Likewise, really cool to see Linlin actually allied Kaido. So she's probably either done this arc or she's taking a massive downturn in power after being defeated. Can't wait to see Queen react to that lol.
