@Doggo @YASER
I've only seen the original Trigun anime and LOVED it, not interested in the new one (be careful what you wish for as they say) and didn't see the manga yet but that is VERY interesting! I've felt Sanji is based on Vash and Wolfwood combined, given his personality, design and such, plus him being a gunslinger originally as you said ofc. Beckman has that sort of Wolfwood energy even too? I expected some very interesting interactions with him and Sanji too tbh.
Yeah he does have that Wolfwood energy too let's see...
Vash:
-Him and his brother products of science like Sanji and his siblings.
-Blonde while non-human, black haired while human| Sanji blonde while human, supposed to be black haired when born a monster.
-Outlaws
-Conviction to a mentor/guardian, Rem who raised and taught Vash right from wrong and he swore to uphold her values of never killing. Zeff to which Sanji feels he owes a life debt to, raised him and upholds his values on food and women. Both to their own lifes detriment.
-Both goofy and serious at times.
-Lack of self worth. Though Vash outgrows this when he finds his own path outside of Rem.
-Guns/Concepted guns.
Wolfwood:
-Conviction
-Self-hate for origins/childhood.
-Kindness to others being a downfall/used against them.
-Womanizer
-Smokes
-Suits
-Zoro parodying Cross gun scene.
-Formal speech at times.
Oda is a Trigun fan. Has to be.
