Luffy would have put up a hell of a fight, but Hancock and her comparatively high mastery over all three Colors would have given her a relatively uncomplicated victory. Her DF powers clearly would have been rendered null against Luffy’s total asexuality, but if she wasn’t in love with the guy, she’d have kicked his ass all up and down Amazon Lily.

Her turning someone fully into stone doesn’t work. Her slave arrow works as it worked against canon shells and pacifista. The same thing with her turning specific areas with her kicks. So no her devil fruit wouldn’t have been useless against him just the mero mero part.

she could have defeated him but definitely it wouldn't have been an easy fight IMO , however i think it would have been too much if luffy was slaughtered for the second time in two consecutive arcs so the plot demanded that luffy doesn't fight her at this point not to mention that she isn't really an boss material she lacks a lot of the characteristics of luffy's opponent

i really hope you are joking , i really don't where all this hancock being a YC believe is coming from , its a possibility but i don't really see her competing with monsters like doffy or cracker or jack so i really don't how come there is a lot of people having a very firm believe in her like that .
