I wonder what will happen if sanji manages to beat his shark?
they are ready?
If Sanji takes an L I don't care, but if Sanji defeats S Shark, we'll see the usual weepers spitting billis with zoro's semen and complaining about the air.
Yeah it mean you can still beat flame on with extremely powerfull attack which koh zoro did but to not waste your strength its better to attack flame off.
Yeah, we should wait for them too. But we know for a fact that it didn't work based on how quickly S-Shark went for Nami, but no, we all blindly assumed being stunned just means damage unless it's from Zoro.

The reactions and impacts depend on the kind of element being used. If it's a fire or an explosion, there'd be dirt marks all over them regardless of how little the damage is. The Seraphim are cyborgs, so elements like lightning would impact them to a degree.
That's usually the case with lightning. People go numb for a bit if the attacks worked, but S-Shark was way too quick to think he took damage.

Oda does have an electric arc effect he does use after electricity. But rather he used the same smoke out of the mouth effect big mom had after the first bomb exploded.
I feel like Nami absolutely damaged him (obviously not too much) but she still did it.

Obviously, I don't think they're completely invulnerable. Otherwise, it'd have been impossible to wipe them out, and the Seraphim will lose eventually as a matter of fact. The most I can think of in this case is that lightning influenced his circuits, and hence the smoke. His body took no damage. Oda's trying to hype their defense in this chapter, he's showing us how they can resist different kinds of attacks.
His facial expression says it all. That's a surprise look. What would he be surprised about? How about his attack that can normally hurt characters with high durability like ancient zoans by bypassing their durability failing to damage S-Shark.
