Murder Mystery Scenario #2 - Desecration of the Golden Witch - The First Twilight
The First Twilight
Having woken up to a stormy morning, the first thing the Ushiromiya family thought was that it might be difficult for them to leave the island today. It appeared that a storm has brewed, and it didn't look likely to let up any time soon. Usually, this would be a cause of great distress - they often couldn't wait to leave, but this time around, they felt closer, as if they truly were spending precious time amongst loved ones.
The second thing they thought of was that they were hungry. Typically, breakfast would be prepared as the family were sleeping, so that it would be available to them at a comfortable time, but there didn't appear to even be any snacks prepared. Thinking it odd, they called for the servants, and none arrived. As the family was all inside the guesthouse, there should have been a fairly large number of staff on hand to wait on them, so no one showing up was strange. After searching the guesthouse, they found no servant present.
After some brief discussion, they all went over to the main house, where Kinzo had remained after last night. Fearing that his health may have taken a turn for the worse, they tarried, but were surprised to find the main house, too, appeared to be empty. Indeed, only the dining hall was locked up. The adult men among them broke down the door, and inside they saw the result of the first twilight.

While some of the remaining family wanted to stay together, Kyrie and Rudolf insisted on staying apart. They asked for Battler to come with them, but he refused, claiming to do so would be to admit that someone is a killer. Eventually, everyone went off to do their own thing, presumably needing some solitude to recover from what they had witnessed.
At noon, Erika rounded everyone up, citing her detective's intuition. She proclaimed that there would be two missing, and sure enough, Kyrie and Rudolf were nowhere to be seen. Then went to the VIP room of the main house, and found the door was locked. Again, the men broke the door down, and before them lay the outcome of the second twilight.

After remaining in the lobby until around 2pm, they once again decided to split up, some convincing themselves that it now might be safe. As before, after another hour had passed, Erika rounded the adults up in the main house, before they all went over to the guesthouse to check on the cousins. There, they would find the scene of the fourth through eighth twilights.

The group all returned to the lobby, where they all broke down, with the exception of Erika. Before long, Rosa lost her cool, and ran off towards Kinzo's study. After thirty minutes had passed, they all went to the study to check on her, and...
Thinking Erika the most suspicious, they returned to the lobby.
The time was 5pm. After leaving Erika in the lobby, the rest of the group went and revisited the murder scenes. Erika happily reasoned by herself.

I know we only met 2 days ago, but for some reason I just can't get you out of my mind... It might seem early to say this, but... I think I'm falling in love. From the very start, you were so sweet and caring, willing to support me and even sacrifice the chance of getting a full reward so that I might be able to try for it. Most guys aren't like that, trust me. The first time Dofla saw me on TMF, he thought I was this dude Avalon's, dupe ;-;
Aside from that, you were also the first one to really stand by my side after I voted AM. Sure, Ultra voted him as well but Ultra loves early game wagoning in general so it was kind of meaningless coming from him. When you voted him, you actually listened to what I had to say and supported me by voting him as well. Unlike you, Dofla just acted like he cared about my opinion and just sheep voted a day later when other people were also voting AM ;-;
When you complimented me on my reads list, my heart fluttered. And when you used it as an example of what to do when speaking to Indigo, my heart skipped 3 beats. I didn't know what was happening at the time. I never could've imagined I was catching feelings for you so quickly.
Did you enjoy karaoke last night? I know that we technically had to compete for Dofla's love, but the truth is... I just really wanted you to notice me... The songs I sang - especially the love song - was actually dedicated to you. While I nervously held the mic in my hands, I couldn't stop myself from quickly glancing over at you every 2 seconds to see your reaction. You know the thing I told Dofla? To be honest, I wish I were saying that to you instead...
Remember that google result you got for people born on March 14th? That second sentence really wasn't lying... I feel completely at your control as every time you just as so as speak to me, my face turns hot and red. The two heart emojis you reacted to me set off butterflies in my stomach.
