monarchy has the problem of too few people in power often having the needs of the kings above the people

and democracy in purest form is just mob rule

america despite of having many flaws, has a pretty good system in place where the constitution takes power over the general democratic vote

I think you missed the initial discussion.We are not talking about the morality of homosexuality.We were talking about the mental health aspects.As for politics,politicians are not doctors.They should let science be free and let people that want theraphy to have it if they wish so.

People are born a certain way. You need to study more about genetics. Some people are born in a way where they won't gain weight even if they eat ten times more than the average person. Some are born with weaker eyes.
Sexuality is also like that. It's not just your mind but also your body reacting to the thought. Some are attracted to their same gender since childhood.
