after the chimera ant arc you'll question who really is the MC ahaha

This is precisely what I like about this manga, and I wish OP was more like that and each SH had a lot more focus in the story.

But many people here (some not) only went with development when it turns someone good, but development that turns someone bad is damn good too

Well, we all want the world to be a little better? Agree, sometimes a character slipping into madness is also a great read, Anakin comes first in my mind, but I also liked how MC in Mirai Nikki became a monster at a certain point. Also, Light from Death Note, from an idealistic kid to a judgemental punisher.

Fanboys always gonna pile on their faves here. Pick the hot faves, the easy choices or watch you entry get stomped by overwhelming bias. Never mind how much effort you put into it, they dont care or don't wanna read either.
Niche choices by anyone almost always get dumped on, it sucks

Well, it's a tournament, people need to recognize the characters, as it's hard to sympathize to those you don't know, even if you read the story.
But you know what, I will change my vote to Clem, as Meruem is still a jerk and I kinda find his path a bit cliché-y, tbh.

megumi ehh for CD id say his is okay - i like Yuji's more tbh

Megumi is good. His CD potential is borderline vilain route. I'm willing to bet Megumi will be more like Sukuna than Yuji will

@Adam 🍎 , as an idea to even chances for niche characters, you can add a coefficient of material quality for future contests, e g if someone does a good explanation+ evidence, it's extra points, if it's simply a link to a video or post made by someone else, it's minus points.

yeah its an all time classic favorite for a reason a slow start but once it starts it keeps going.

Megumi is good. His CD potential is borderline vilain route. I'm willing to bet Megumi will be more like Sukuna than Yuji will

well yeah obviously Megumi doesnt have the control like Yuji did to overtake his body even more so now given the latest chapter.

Nah even without Sukuna Megumi was going down the path of Sukuna.

Megumi is keeping his "insanity" behind a wall, restricting his power because his domain doesn't have walls. Once that barrier collapses Megumi will become far far stronger but way more brutal.

Megumi is prolly what Sukuna was before his descent into madness

These can still be fun because of that. I even said that to him directly before and on here too that I came back to WG and stayed partially because of these contests.

Aside from the "unfair" biases, they're a lot of fun plus as I've said recently the music contests are fantastic for discovering new songs too.

(Disclaimer: I'm just being snide about the unfair part too haha)

That's a pretty cool idea, not sure how hard it would be to implement but I really like it. Maybe like a honorary award/bonus points system separate to the voting system at least?

Aye that's the problem too definitely. I was hoping they would give her a chance with how much was submitted for her, how much effort was put in but alas lol.

Mureum has always been very popular at least along with certain HxH characters, its like submitting Gojo, Sukuna, Madagascar, Aizen, Itachi, Kenpachi etc, they're naturally gonna ve super popular here anyway.

I appreciate your response btw, thank you. Oh damn haha lol, thank you! Any more potential supporters and even especially fans of Clem would always be appreciated! Her writing through those games was fantastic, especially taking care of AJ so I makes me very outspoken about it haha.
Lee and Kenny were fantastic though. I also really like Javier and Jesus in New Frontier.

I know you stayed for the contests that's why I found it weird that you had such a big complaint about them.

Shrek 2 is one of the best animated films out there in my opinion but I gotta give character development to Zuko. His path wasn't an easy one and it was very satisfying and enjoyable to see. Shrek's journey throughout the films was also great to see but it's character development specifically so I'm giving it to Zuko. Shrek's development from a secluded, loner and outcast from society to opening up to Donkey and Fiona and coming to terms with his feelings was great to see and his conflict in the second film regarding wanting to be perfect for her was also very engaging. I wish I could vote for both but I'm going with Zuko.

Man, both Avatar: The Last Airbender and Shrekand Shrek 2 were amazing stories.
