Future Events How is Oda planning to involve Enel in the Story again? It doesent really fit nor is the Time for it since the Final Antagonists are kinda set already

(Unless you believe that Im=Enel tale)

•What are your Ideas on this?

•Do you see a way for Enel to fit in the final Saga of One Piece?

•The only way i see Enel fitting in the Story is if Oda is shitting on us again (as usual) with his Predictions on the End of OP and plans to stretch the End for another 2-3 Years sooo...

Yea One Piece aint finishing in the next 10 years if Oda is sticking to his unconsistent Predictions and plans for the Story (dont let him fool you with the "The Upperones are rushing me to finish the Story") he was just at his lowest in the Wano Ending without any creativity or good Plan.

I think there is a reason if they involve going to the Moon but he can also be involved in Everyone vs WG. His race mayhave been booted by them too. I am neither for nor against his return tho.
Real talk - I always hated space exploration in anime/manga that doesn't rely on that theme during the majority of its run.
Toriko ended with them going to space and I found that to be ass. Same would be true for OP. Naruto had a movie on the moon etc

I think they won't do space travel this late but seeing the advancements of Vegapank and iirc Luffy once said about going to the moon so if Oda picks upon that then it is going to be an arc but like you said I can't envision Luffy and co going to the moon. How the heck will it even be possible without 1 sign pointing towards it upto 1079. It'd suck but since this thread is about possibilities, it is 10-90 against Enel.

Enel will bring exposition from the Moon. It'll be one of the missing pieces of historical knowledge to understand what happened to the Ancient Kingdom. Ohara and Vegapunk have part of the research. The Lunarians and whatever else may lay with Pluton in Wano will supply another. Enel's return will clarify Imu's origin. I can see Imu's threat being amplified, for us readers, if Enel returns knowing what this King of the World did in the past, only to be immediately captured by the WG. It'd make for a banging cliffhanger if Enel comes face to face with Imu, recognizes him, and immediately shits his pants.

To add to my previous comment, Skypeia is a microcosm story of the whole macrocosm of One Piece. Enel is the Imu of his arc. It's only fitting that they meet. And it's only fitting that Imu turns out to be a bigger scumbag than Enel, made even manipulating Enel's ideals of the Fairy Vreath against him. If Enel's to complete a character arc, helping defeat what he himself aspired to become is the apotheosis of evolution.

There is No Hint that Enel would Return
But....

We do have a Confirmation that Oda knows Enel is Popular & many are wondering if He will return
So even if He didn't initially Plan to bring him back, He most probably changed his Mind to please his Fans
Just like He did with many Characters (He even started making Non-Canon & SBS Characters as Canon)

It should also be Noted that almost Every Character who had a Cover Story Appeared again & got Re-Introduced into the Story
This includes Buggy, Koby, Hatchan, Jango, Wapol, Ace, Baroque Works, Lucci & Caribou
With Recent Ones (Grand Fleet, Capone & Germa) also Expected to Re-Appear soon

Only one who didn't get Re-Introduced was Gedatsu but He is currently in Arabasta which is still a Relevant Kingdom
It's only matter of time before we see Gedatsu with Koza or Pell

So i doubt Oda would make Enel as Only Exception, especially since imo his Cover Story was Most Important so far Lore Wise
He also Awakened Automata Army & we still don't know why Moon People created them
They obviously have a Role to fill (It should also be Noted that same Automata were Created on Vega's Home Island in The Past)

Based on all of this, i believe Enel is 99% Coming Back
He will either bring what Automata Created or it will be Revealed He had an Adventure in Space & made some Discoveries
(I have a Feeling He will appear in Elbaf Arc cuz i think Moon People are related to Giants)

If he comes back it will probably be as a dead body on Laugh Tale. If he returns alive I expect it will be for the final war. Either in an attempt to hook up with Im (promptly leading to his death) or as a faction in the final war. Still think a dead body is most likely though.

Enel’s in a good place, he can come back or he can stay on the moon and either make sense. The moon is of obvious importance to the story, what with the sky island folk, the hieroglyphics, Lunarians, the Wano families being named after the moon. It’s not hard to see Enel coming across some more information up there that makes him decide to head back down with his robo army.

Or, he doesn’t and he just stays where he is. That’s fine too. He isn’t needed, but he’s a great fun character so if he can come back in a good way, bring him back.

If he doesn’t come back in the main story you can put money on Toei bringing him back as a movie antagonist once the series is over, or as a villain for a sequel.
