Never gonna happen. Oda actually cares for Akainu, unlike Kid. It's nothing against Kid personally. Oda just makes characters he likes perform.

kid tried it alone to kaido and got thrown in udon prison. hes stronger now but that also means hes not as likely to give up or want to be taken prisoner. idk how it will play out but i can see kid fighting to the death even if its his own

I doubt he got one shotted but about Kaido blazing bagua would destroy Kid that attack is bajrang gun level that melted Onigashima's horn when it touched it Luffy had to use adv COA to prevent losing his arm even though he was using adv COC
