King already negged Big Mom and her crew, his physical force is far above Kidd's, he has lethality far above kids, far more range, is way faster and is FAR FAR FAR more durable.

Literally you can not ask for a better guy to be on defensive, while Law takes the offense.
If he can fight Zoro who nearly killed Kaido after blocking Hakai, he can damn sure replace Kidd
