A captain's bounty isn't influenced by their subordinates, the opposite however is directly stated by Oda.

And we know from Whitebeard just how little those things matter, but nice try.

Even fodders like Caribou and his brother can get 200 mil bounties from hunting no name Marines, can reasonably see Mihawk gaining atleast an entire billion just from hunting down some VA's.
