General & Others Would Luffy beating Kizaru add to or lessen his hype

While yes all the current eggheads matchups are still up in the air and nothing is concrete would kizaru being beat by luffy help or hurt his hype?
Especially if zoro and sanji end up fighting fujitora and ryokugyu in a later arc

I dont think it affects Kizaru's hype especially compared with Fuji and Ryo. Since both alao had their bad days of feats

Kaidou was defeated already, you can argue it lessens his hype, but atm he's billed as stronger than any opponent Zoro will ever defeat. He didn't even make it to the endgame, so obviously Kizaru can only look good following up after Kaidou as long as he's a major arc opponent.

His hype will probably only be effected by the damage of his attacks. If his lasers are easily shrugged off and his "light speed" is easily dodged, then that's a bad look. But at this point, losing to luffy isn't dehype (unless he giggle diffs you, like he did lucci).

As the stronger admiral it won’t hurt his hype imo, but it’s not certain that a full on fight to the end would happen between Luffy and Kizaru although I don’t mind it. However, I could see a fight happening where it shows Luffy about equal to Kizaru, but somehow gets interrupted where the SHs escape.

Mr. 3 was significantly weaker than Mr. 1/2
Blueno was significantly weaker than Kaku and Jabra
Even Katakuris bounty was much lower than King and Queens

I don’t either but, I think if Kizaru falls here it kinda cements that when oda hypes up Ryo and Fuji he’ll put them above Kizaru.

Yeah Kaido was a leader of a crew, not a subordinate like all those I mentioned.

And no he isn’t. Kata hype died almost immediately for obvious reason and cmon we both know how oda writes.

Luffy begins a saga ->
luffy fights a powerful subordinate of the enemy ->
Zoro and Sanji fight stronger subordinates of that enemy ->
luffy beats the leader of that enemy group

This is just par for the course.
