- People genuinely believe he will cap at yc3 at Wano when his captain will be at least near the cusp of top tier territory. The second strongest guy in the crew? Really.


- People put fodders on his level to hype those characters up because they haven't had decent feats in over a decade.

Zoro is singlehandedly the most underrated character in one piece.

Subjectively speaking here, We could theorize based on how Oda gave power levels in Enies Lobby is how he views the gap between Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji...

Man, guess Oda didn’t portray them as rivals within the last five chapters along with Kid, the same way he did at Sabaody. And it’s a shame that Oda hasn’t built up Luffy, Law, and Kid to be the three to fight Kaido together.

But I guess that Kaido and Big Mom aren’t rivals because they have an alliance, nor were they ever because they have this alliance. Garp and Roger were also not rivals, because they too had an alliance. Hawkins is not a rival to Kid, because they were once in an alliance, nor is Apoo.

Oh, and because you mentioned Kid, see he can’t be a rival of Luffy’s either, because he’s right in the middle of an alliance with Luffy as well.

The seat itself was saved for Doffy's closest crewmate - it used to be his Brothers, then it was Vergo. If it isn't your brother, it's bound to be your most capable crewmate.
