Never understood why Sengoku is always left behind. He was on the frontlines just like Garp. The only difference is Garp is aggressive while Sengoku is milder. He was up there with the old legends as far as I am concerned.

Both took down Shiki
Both also rivaled Roger even tho Shiki was Sengoku nemesis and Roger and Garp had bigger rivalry

You can't view it as Roger and Ray since Sengoku is the FA and also has CoC, Garp has no rank over Sengoku

Sengoku was never directly compared to Roger, it was always Garp. Cornered Roger multiple times, beat Rocks pirates with Roger. Roger entrusted his very own son to Garp. Sengoku never had this kind of close-knit portrayal, he was always this mastermind strategist instead of a pure fighter like Garp.
Ranks means shit when powerscaling Garp, that’s already established.
I don’t know what coc has to do with anything, Roger and Rayleigh both have coc, one is still clearly stronger than the other. Garp/Sengoku ~ Roger/Rayleigh
