I know you can take hormone pills as a minor, but surgery can't be done until you're an adult. I dunno if I'd call that "unreversible damage".

Did you know you still can't wear hats in the court room? I learned that recently when my hair was tangled and I was dealing with an eviction and needed to cover it. So if you can't even wear a hat to a court room, much less a witches robe, a dominatrix suit that looks scifi, and every other getup that looks like the picture.
Tell me why it's okay to ban these things from a court room but you think it's fine to wear them to other political and governmental buildings?

In some case yes, in most cases surgery or hormone therapy for minor is needed.
Just like you treat depression with anti depressor, you treat gender disphoria with hormone therapy in some case and surgery in others (for adults).

That's something you cannot "fix" by fixing your perception. And we don't really know why right now. This is something you fix by actual treatment.
And careful, if gender disphoria is indeed pathological, being trans is not. Making a transition and therefore being a trans person is NOT a disease.
