Then Shiliew ate the stupid fruit of invisibility, that's hardly going to propel him to the superior levels.

Also, if he was a Zoro fanboy he would be upset that Zoro's Final boss ability was defeated by Sanji in Thriller Bark.

And since then, there was a two-year timeskip that involved the Blackbeard Pirates trampling the remaining Whitebeard Pirates. You don't think Shiryu got way stronger since Impel Down?

Magellan’s fruit is one of the deadliest in the series more so than actual yc1’s fruits we have seen. As a fighter I don’t rate him that highly but his fruit carries enough on its own. Shiryu was able to match that and even be considered more lethal (Iva’s words) with just his physicals/haki/skills alone and to me that’s a bit more respectable. Now the invisibility fruit underwhelmed me as well but in the hands of a lethal killer like Shiryu it could be better than I imagined, we’ve seen what really skilled fighters can do with fruits that by themselves would be considered average or boring. I think Shiryu is going to be more than your average yc1/rhm/etc, people give Ben Beckman that benefit of the doubt idk why Shiryu can’t have a similar respect. Plus I don’t have the BB pirates as the final fights for the Strawhats, the World Govt/ Celestial Dragons seem to be a much bigger force to take down.

I am pretty sure the only reason he got the invis fruit is so Zoro can get a COO powerup to hit an invisible Shiliew. Maybe Shiliew can even awaken his fruit too.

I'll be honest, none of the BBP match ups interest me.
The only one i have bit of high hopes for Luffy vs BB, but even for that Oda is not doing a good job as he is trying his hardest to make BB look like a clown in his 1v1 fights.

Shiryu won’t be his EOS opponent, idk where you got that idea from. Also people are being too pessimistic with Shiryu and his DF. Depending on how his awakening is handled, he can be a real threat by becoming “nothing” or even intangibility like Obito from Naruto

The Blackbeard match up will be all solid high diff minimum with every strawhats needing a powerup. luffy will do a big bang punch to overpower blackbeard mega crushing vortex, zoro will upgrade his swordmanship with a black blade or dimensional slash and coo, sanji will devellop an islands aoe blue fire that can evaporate island, jimbei will use an island shockwave fishman karate, franky will become small island level, robin, brook will reach great montains level pika, chopper nami, ussopp will become town level. So na shiryu will be a monster it will also lead directly to ZORO vs MIHAWK.
