There is a reason Nerfed Ace couldn't use Entei Flame Emperor on Marineford, he was barely standing. Another plot for Red Dog to win other than DF match-up advantage similar to Enel vs Luffy.

Flame Emperor is an important technique, its literally Sabo's name right now. Sabo probably used that vs. 2 Ladmirals.

Still BB was too powerful, he was holding back vs Ace by not using any weapons like claw or pistols. Barehands were enough.

Ace could barely use Basic CoA lol, he used CoC once when he was a kid and that was about it.

Ace was YC2, he did what he could, but never truly reached his Full potential.
