That's not entirely true if we go by definition. But yeah, We've done countless coups around the world (including Brazil despite what others might want you to believe) and installed countless dictators after overthrowing democratic elected governments (dictatorships are fascist by definition) But the US fits more into what we define as an oligarchy.

The US helped the military regime in Brazil and even asked for military aid during the Vietnam war,but we did that Coup ourselves.Russia and China were financing guerrila fighters here too,so you know...uncle Sam doesn't like that type of stuff.
