General & Others Why does no one ever talk about Law being defeated by Doffy? Someone 10 times if not 100 times weaker than Shanks.

Law losing to Doffy is a tax he still pays to this day, idk what you're talking about, that's like the most discussed thing when it comes to Law even post Wano.
I haven't seen anyone talk about it personally

but Doffy had awakening and lost to a non-awakened Luffy, that same Doffy beat Law who fought 3 different yonko weeks later. Oda is weird.

and the next time we see him he'll somehow climb to near-yonko level...

Anytime you see someone point out Law can't do 1v1s it comes from the Doffy fight. And you see that everytime Law's name is brought up so I'd say it's frequent.

He went from getting clapped by Doffy's attacks to taking Armament infused Punches from Big Mom.
Why's that a surprise though? It's not like Big Mom's punches are mountain busters or something. Law improved drastically but the gap isn't half as big as you imagined it to be b/w Doffy's attacks and Big Mom's. Doffy's using bullets, and stabbed Law with strings multiple times. So of course he'd fall quickly against him.

If I'm being serious, Big Mom is FAR stronger than Mingo.
It's not even funny.

She sure is, but that doesn't mean his attacks can't be nearly as dangerous as her basic punches--especially considering the lethality factor. Even Gang Bage withstood her punches.
I mean Bege was in castle form and she still wrecked him with each punch.
And she was wailing on Law so hard she thought he died ( " Gave up the ghost " in her words )
She also knocked like 2 of Kidd's teeth out with a punch

Bage feels the attacks even if he's in the castle form as the damage directly transfers to him. He was going white-eyed from the impact but he still withstood them nonetheless. These guys are regular humans with regular bodies, so even regular attacks work on them similar to how pre-skip Luffy was hurting the likes of Blackbeard and Garp. Big Mom's got shit AP for a top-tier. She's a jack of all trades but a master of none. Even those random air slashes from Kaido are more lethal than Big Mom's entire career.

Also, it's wrong to assume weaker characters wouldn't do nearly as much damage as top tiers. King's pushing Zori to his limits while two Yonko couldn't KO him a few minutes prior. Even Kaido failed to knock him out on his deathbed. You're either giving too much credit to some top tiers for their offense or not giving enough credit to the weaker characters.

Y'know, I don't see anyone saying Kaidou or Akainu have shit AP for a top-tier, despite them failing to kill/KO Kinemon and Curiel.

Well, it was only one attack, not a barrage of them. Kaido KO'ed Luffy, one of the best endurance monsters around multiple times while Akainu confirmed death certificates for at least two relevant characters. Big Mom hasn't done anything of that sort.

Mihawk hasn't done anything of that sort either but he's still a top tier.
It ain't that bad. Big Mom could still overpower Kidd and Law throughout most of their fight, to the point where they had to throw her off the island so she didn't heal and whoop them.

Peeps were giving Big Mom benefit of the doubt against the likes of Shanks and Akainu before she started fighting on the panel. There are reasons to believe Mihawk'd have top-rated attacks even if he hasn't done anything. We have the other swordsmen—who're obviously weaker than him—to scale, at least vaguely, where he stands in the power spectrum. You don't have anyone like that to compare with Big Mom, and she remained unimpressive even after going all out. Mihawk, on the other hand, has, by far, the biggest raw power feat in the manga to date. Add a bit of CoA to it, and then pour in some CoC coating, we'll be redefining the power structure when he starts using named attacks.

Big Mom is just too cocky for her own good.
If she used Life Amps, all 3 homies, and Advanced Haki against Kidd and Law? It'd have been a wrap.

She's cocky for sure, but she did use all of her resources. They simply weren't enough, which's evident from the fact that she had to power up twice to continue fighting. As I said earlier, Big Mom sacrificed efficiency for versatility. She offensively pales in comparison to the rest of the top tiers, period. Even Law and Zoro far surpass her in offense and they're not even top-tiers.
