Honestly this new Ganondorf’s Charisma is off the charts

Exposing his jacked physique :steef:

“Leave no survivors!” :steef:

“Do not look away!” :steef:

You can tell the devs had a lot of fun with this guy lol, he’s already seeming like a much, much, much better villain than Calamity Ganon’s unsentient ass
Do not look away is a raw ass line

One thing I do hope they explain is why exactly Calamity Ganon took the form he did in BotW. This was a form of Ganon that we’ve never seen before that game. I remember first hearing Calamity Ganon’s name and being like “what? Why?” And then of course when I first laid eyes on Calamity Ganon itself, I was always very curious as to what this thing was and why.

Also, what is Malice and why was it such a recurring magic in BotW?

I don’t need some giant explanation but just a satisfying explanation as to why these things existed in the form they did.

My take is this:
Malice is just like, the raw form of Demise's hatred/curse that managed to slowly leak out despite Ganondorf himself being sealed, taking a primal form that creates monsters and corrupts enviroments.

Ganondorf probably had some amount of control over the malice as it managed to take over the guardians and divine beasts while also appearing to to be trying to make some kind of new body using Sheikah tech.
But after Zelda sealed it with her power 100 years ago that control was probably halted and Calamity Ganon just became a mindless beast, probably losing sentient control over the divine beasts and such.

In BotW i remember it being implied that Ganon's influence was just recently starting to grow again with Zelda's power weakening and Link re-awakening, since only recently had the Divine Beasts begin to start causing problems for the different races when Link gets to them.

Since we're revisiting a familiar setting with the same versions of Link and Zelda from the previous game, I'm hoping we get a little bit more insight into their relationship. It looks like some years have passed since the calamity, and that botw ending heavily implied romance between those two. It's just a yes or no question Nintendo, don't be pussies.

cap lmao
Though that artwork does feel different to how Ganondorf is usually depicted, it feels heroic lol
He's also displayed prominently alongside Zelda and male Zelda in the japanese website.
Honestly, TotK Ganondorf's design is peak, considering how he's even more jacked than his previous versions. Dude did his ultimate bulking.

Okay I saw this theory multiple times now
Some people believe that the ancient hero from botw was actually Ganondorf
The princess looks exactly like the one we saw in the new trailer but the hero doesn’t look like "Link"

This hero has red hair and a big nose, exactly like Ganondorf

What if the past Ganondorf was sick of this endless cycle? He didn’t want to be Demise's puppet
Maybe he fought against it but lost in the end.
Ganondorf had maybe an inner conflict, the Gerudo in him vs Demise

This is just a far fetched theory but it would interesting and something new
