The murder mystery part is over now so there wouldn't be much sense in infiltrating now if everything is in chaos already. Since the fight was off screen we can't tell how much beating it was or how hard the fight was for BB.
Some blood on the face hardly mean much in a OP fight .

Oda drew BB with blood on his face panting to indicate it was an off-screen hard battle hence high-diff. Same with how he portrays off-screen multiple day battles as stalemate/extreme-diff.
