So Teach wasn't Yonko when kuzan joined. This happend shortly after the fight between akaiju and kuzan, about 2 years ago after Marineford
And he's not afraid of Kuzan .

I love the dynamism between him and Teach

the guy with Burnt mark might be some Ex Rocks pirate (silvers axe) or whatever. Maybe even Shiki?

Don't think darkness nullifies already created DF powers, just stops you from using more.

It'd make sense for it to nullify the power only when it's in active use.

Thr Yami Yami is supposed to negate DF hax completely. The ability to freeze someone to the bone shouldn't be any different

I guess it can only nullify ongoing abilities, not those that already happened.

Think of Yami as infinite gravity stored in that cloud of darkness that BB creates. It would break appart anyone frozen like buildings.

That's in essence how he pulls people towards him. He doesn't "reverse" effects. Think of a nerfed blackhole, but however still drawing anyone and anything in his darkness or via black vortex.

Yami nullify Ace flame when the flames was still all over Teach body.

The first explanation given by Teach about his Yami power is that it absorbs DF power.
So by that theory BB could absorb the Ice(DF power) that trapped his crewmate.
But Loda forgot the power he created could do that and sacrifice logic for plot

If BB could nullify Ace DF fully then ace would have not been able to do anything in his fight but he was still using his powers .
We have not seen BB fully nullify a person DF unless he holding them .
