Believe me, her payoff was well planned. It's just Oda decided to retcon all the character arc in Wano except Momo for some reason lol

What pay off,she got her freedom,but she will sit in Wano for who knows how long.She is not relevant to the main plot.

Yes that's the botched pay off. I meant the pay off that was SUPPOSED to happen was well planned imo. Kinda like Kaido/Big Mom's arcs were also well planned then Oda just decided to throw them in a volcano and move on
