They can't stay in Amazon Lily and since hancock is above 1 Billion and an ex Shichibukai, sooner or later the WG will send an admiral after her.

Joining with Cross guild would benefit both parts.

Mihawk will lend a helping hand once he finds out that the hometown of his mother(shakky) was being rocked and it´s inhabitants had to flee, we might even get a moment of oda revealing rayleigh and shakky are mihawk´s parents once he goes to amazon lily.

Avenging Cora was Law’s main goal, yet he never got to kill him. Bring back Doffy with ACoC for Law vs Doffy EoS.

Cross Guild is more like fan service when you think about it because of how the final war is being hyped. So, they're used to justify all the old players to be present in the final war against WG/CD alongside with the Straw Hats, Grand Fleet, Revolutionary Army and the remnants of Big Mom/others.

A marine hunting organization defeating all the oppressive marines in towns and destroying torture chamber (impel down) while actively recruiting before heading to the war then everyone having a banquet in the aftermath is a perfect way to end the series.

Boa Hancock isn't even willing join the war against Whitebeard that could revoke her Shichibukai status and she's only convinced by Luffy who she fell in love with because of Luffy's actions(punching a Celestial Dragon and Luffy showing his selflessness despite having a dispositon of a King(CoC haki).
Amazon Lily allying with men which they had no business to begin with is a huge asspull. Boa Hancock joining Luffy's Grand fleet(because of Luffy) and receiving a protection of a Yonko is more probable because the Navy can't just attack a Yonko territory without orders from their top brass.

Lastly Rayleigh is still protecting Amazon Lily unless the Navy sends an Admiral or Blackbeard attacks Amazon lily again no other people is capable of attacking Amazon Lily. And Sabaody is pretty close to Amazon lily too

I don't think Cross Guild will be structured that way. It'll be:

Buggy -> Buggy's crew
Mihawk -> (no crew)
Crocodile -> Baroque Works
Etc.
