I think trans people are a very depressed group of people
they have a high suicide rate
If leftists want to advocate on behalf of them
Then instead of arguing for the allowance to transition, you should instead try to encourage good mental heath and other such things which would decrease the high suicide rate
not saying transition itself should be forbidden if people wanna do it then have at thee but if your efforts are supposed to be focused on helping this group then this aint the best focus

The bad mental health comes from systemic discrimination and the mental stress that is caused by not being seen as the gender they feel they are.
I am sceptical towards hormonal transitioning and think society should be more accepting of people of all genders regardless what they look like.
