Sakazuki and Blackbeard, Blackbeard and Sakazuki, there are no more serious rivals for Luffy in the future.

By serious rivals I mean a full fight, not a brief exchange like Lucci.

There are really approximately 120 chapters left and there is no time for more than 2 complete sagas.

And no, Oda will not make the Gorosei or Imu gods of combat and the final bosses, it would not make sense.

Says who? You? Its been disproven time and time again that the timeline is wrong. You know Oda said One Piece would in 5 years like....3 years ago now right? Then he came out last year and said he actually doesnt know when itll end.

Egghead is literally set up for Luffy to fight Kizaru and his group of Marines, not sure what you think is happening this arc lol

Oda actually said last year that his goal was to finish in 3 years.

So it seems clear that his idea is to finish One Piece at ~1200 chapters.

Also, what more rivals do you expect?:luuh:

Literally in that same interview he said he was joking and that he doesnt know when he'll finish. Just this past jump festa he told everyone to calm down because the final arc will not be rushed and will take a while.

And i already said it: Kizaru. Theres also Shanks and Im. Theres also Elbaf, Lodestar and Laugh Tale. Theres also the Burned Scar Man. Theres also the Final War.

Egghead alone already isnt short. Elbaf wont be either. Nothing states Shanks will be Luffy's endgame ally. Nothing states Im and the Gorosei arent powerful either. We dont know if the Burned Man is good or bad. Etc etc etc.

Story isnt ending in less time than Wano lmfao

The most ridiculous thing is thinking Oda can manage to wrap up 5x the characters over Wano in less time than Wano. Its not happening. We arent even near Laugh Tale or the Final War. Egghead has no sign of finishing. We have no idea if Elbaf is even next. And if it is, we have no idea if Lodestar is even after that.

When you all tell me you actually believe "timeline" comments from Oda, it tells me you actually dont know shit considering he's been wrong for 20 years and is already way off the mark from the last time he said it. And he's even gone back on it twice since.

also 4 years is about 140 chapters


when you consider that egghead is no more than 15 more (prolly 12~), that leaves 128 for a Lodestar (short), Elbaf (short), Laughtale and potentiallya final war...

when you start realizing that the entirety of the Summit war was 107 chapters and covered as much as it did (ik pre ts vs post) its not as much of a reach as you think

This was nearly 4 years ago. It then got repeated by him and his editor 1 more time each before he stopped saying it. Then in his interview with Conan's Author, he joked about how he'd "like" to finish in 3 years, then immediately said he doesnt know after. His editor also came out and said One Piece has 20-30 volumes left last year. One Piece gets 3 volumes per year. Do the math on how many years that equates to at minimum.

So unless One Piece is ending literally next year, he's already been wrong. If it doesnt end in 2 years, then both him and and his editor are wrong again from when they repeated it in 2020.

Lmfao, where are you pulling these random ass numbers from? Egghead is literally gearing up for a major battle and you think its ending. Ive been told for months Egghead is ending and yet it keeps getting longer and longer. Wonder why that is?

And im sorry to break it to you, but Elbaf of all arcs will not be short, its been teased for decades and has key importance to multiple main characters. And we have no idea what Lodestar will consist of. And we STILL do not know if Elbaf and Lodestar are even next.

Summit War literally achieves nothing but killing 2 Characters and teasing the pinnacle of the powers in the story. Realize this please. Pacing was as good as it was because there was no direct villain in Amazon Lily, Impel Down or Marineford that required Luffy to win. No major villain lost. No flashbacks explored. No plotlines resolved for any individual character save for Whitebeard and Ace.

So no, it will not end in 140 chapters. We arent even at the Final War yet, but you seem to be including things that have nothing to do with it. We arent even near Laugh Tale yet unironically.

well either way Oda might not be able to complete one piece in 5 years , but he for sure intends to end it soon, just look at this arc all Yonkos, WG (even Gorosei and Imu ) and the revos all of them are making their moves.
who would fight Luffy either way , Koby and Smoker are too weak and basically on his side , that applies for Fujitora , he might have some skirmishes with Kizaru this arc or maybe that Gorosei , Shanks is his friend and seems to have his eyes on BB , the other Supernovas are not Luffy's opponents they are more qualfied to be his sidekicks than his opponents.
Luffy has grudges with only Akainu and BB so it is guarantied that he will battle them , Sabo might be able to take on Akainu for sure , since he fought against two admirals but the revos seems to be the opponents for Gorosei and CP0
Dragon might be the one who fight Imu if it is not Luffy just for simple reason right now only the Revos knows about his existence right now.

We don't know what kind of fight they will have with Kizaru. On the other hand, Shanks will be killed by Blackbeard and Imu is not a fighter at all.

In Wano there was a lot of filler, Oda will speed things up a lot, focusing on the stories of the upper levels instead of the downtrodden villagers.
