What is stopping someone from being a Yonko and a Holy Knight? Its actually very much within the WG logic to "maintain" the 3 powers by inserting one of their own into the heirarchy to do so.

Shanks was found as a baby by Roger and brought up as a pirate. Then after Roger died, you're saying he went to the WG and became a Holy Knight then later he formed a pirate crew to act as a double agent? Yeah, I'm going to say no to that. There's simply very little to suggest he's a Holy Knight member

We know virtually nothing about the characters background lol.

So yes, it could very well be in the confines of him either working for or against (or his own agenda) the WG by playing pirate and WG servant.
