By the way, for those asking, Redon sort of confirmed the spoilers. But he hasn't released any information by himself yet.

Oda wants the story to be about Luffy, not Zoro. Luffy > Zoro

In order to not make any question makes surrounding that, he literally created Sanji to be his rival, and that’s the reason Sanji exists
