And is thus confirmed to be factually weaker than Admirals, Shanks is now too weak to be the final villain. I believe Oda is setting up Shanks to get defeated by Sabo at EOS

It fits perfectly, I mean Luffy will one or two shot Holy Knight Shanks at EOS but Oda won’t want to humiliate Shanks that hard, so instead Sabo will fight Shanks while Luffy moves on ahead.

It makes perfect sense!

Though Sabo is different from Ace in a good amount of fields, he's clearly inheriting his will, so he will fight Akainu for his sake.
