Powers & Abilities How on earth are the rest of the Straw Hats gonna learn Haki?

It took Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji 2 years just to master the basics, how are the other Straw Hats gonna learn to use Haki this late in the story?

Of course, there’s always the possibility that they won’t learn haki, but the future crew of the pirate king only having 4 haki users sounds incredibly lame to me. What do you guys think?

They won't. It seems that Oda enjoys Power Up SHs in other ways.

For example Franky, Franky is more likely to gain another version of General Franky, than learn CoA.

That sounds really lame especially because nearly all commanders and veterans of Kaido’s, Big Mom’s, and maybe Shanks’ crew all know Haki. It’s really sad how more than half the crew probably won’t be able to deal with a logia user by the EOS

On the other hand, it does not matter that much anyway seeing the treatment most of them got this last arc...

That is fucking irrelevant.
Countering logias was meant for strong guys, since logias are normally strong dudes (Admirals). The weak logias (Caribou) can be dealt without the need of Haki.

Giving Haki to every SH would be bullshit (makes no sense for what exactly you said about the 2 years training) and lame as fuck since that would make their original abilities and overall fighting style less appealing and more generic.

Same reason as to why not all of them will have a DF, because they have other abilities that Oda wants to showcase more instead. If he was going to give them Haki, he would’ve set the table ages ago.

If you give Haki to every Straw Hat, you would need to come up with new techniques for them. More effort into coming up with stuff like that = less time to be able to focus on more important things.

You wouldn’t want a plate full of undercooked cookies, right? It’s important that all of the cookies are made the same way.

The Pirate King Crew will just have the best navigator, the best doctor, the best Robin.

They dont need haki when Luffy will already have their best.

And they are still strong. I mean, they could be easily be Veterans.

But yeah, Strawhats not learning Haki during timeskip was a mistake.

They do still need haki, Luffy/Zoro/Jinbei already carry this crew too much.

Scrubs like page 1/tamago/pekoms all know haki. Most likely all blackbeard's commanders know it, in fact even the fodder on boa's island know it. Luffy's crew is frankly pathetic compared to other yonko crews. It's been stated multiple times that haki is the most important ability in one piece and the ultimate equaliser against devil fruit users.

At the moment, Luffy looks like a yonko and Zoro/Jinbei look like commanders. But the rest of the crew look nothing like what a quality yonko crew should look like, certainly not pirate king crewmember material.
