I am all for Akainu vs Luffy, but Akainu ain't EoS villan, period, and if he happened to fight Luffy in the same arc as Im, then he's as good as Blueno in the grand scheme of things, so that doesn't really give Akainu as much hype as you're hoping to give him. If there will be an arc with Akainu as the main boss, which is what I always expected, then we can talk about how Akainu is one of the major villans EoS.

If Akainu gets taken down in the final war where also Imu falls then he's a final villain especially when Luffy will be his oponnent. He's just not THE final villain and i never pretended like he was. Him getting crushed is just an opinion. We're talking about a Manga where a guy like Zoro was put at 100% with Mink cum, I'm not ruling out the possibility that Akainu would push Luffy extremely far.

The Navy will be defeated lead by the crew while the Revolutionary army advance past to the Holy land and fulfill their role as the Scabbards of the final arc.

Why law took hybrid kaido attack without getting ko while act 1 luffy get one shot by base kaido if there is no power boost? Law has no training on screen unlike luffy and Kidd .
The same law got beaten by doflimingo while same luffy beat him up . Law wano resume is beating hawkin which he is not even yonko commander level.

Not trying to diss you or anything just saying my opinion thats all.

If you asked me a few years ago i would say that Luffy's eos enemy would be either BB or Sakazuki but Oda keeps introducing new characters and this Holy Knights & Imu thing makes both Teach and Sakazuki less & less eos material and it would suck if Sakazuki gets Blueno's treatment.

Don't rule out Teach yet. I'm playing with the idea that Teach might be the real Final villain even overtaking Imu, even Shanks is still in the game.

I'm confident that Oda won't just waste these two build up since the beginning of OP.
As for Akainu, he can't overtake Imu or the Gorosei in story importance given his current position.
